ECC and LCU Partnership
Great partnerships are sometimes hard to come by, but when we encounter them we know it. Consider Abbott and Costello, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, the Lone Ranger and Tonto, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, Starsky and Hutch, Batman and Robin, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, and even Romeo and Juliet. There have been lots of great duos celebrated and appreciated. Food groups could even be considered: peanut butter and jelly, bacon and eggs, a hamburger and French fries. Good places to live might even be thrown into the discussion: Minneapolis-St. Paul, Champaign-Urbana, Bloomington-Normal, and Rockford-Moline. Now maybe we are stretching it a bit, but you get the idea.
A significant partnership has been born between Eastview Christian Church and Lincoln Christian University, Lincoln, IL. ECC now offers a Masters of Art in Spiritual Formation through LCU’s Hargrove School. The degree has one supreme purpose: to help Christian adults practice the presence of God more deeply in their lives, their work, and their church while serving others. Classes are offered at the spacious Eastview campus in an accelerated format – with two per year offered on six consecutive Monday evenings, two per year offered on extended weekends, and two per year offered independently that can be done anywhere.
Check out the full description of the program in the link provided. This program can benefit you if you have a baccalaureate degree and desire to practice the presence of God more deeply. A non-degree certificate option is also available.
