Spirit Lifters is the senior adult (55 years plus) ministry of Eastview. However, it is not restricted to just Eastview members. You are encouraged to invite your friends and neighbors. Our purpose is to glorify the Heavenly Father through fellowship, fun, and service that is Spirit Lifting by conducting monthly meetings with dinner and a program of interest, fun and excitement! Shut-In & Prayer Ministries:
Members of the Spirit Lifters volunteer with the ECC Shut-In Ministry making regular calls on Shut-Ins. Time is spent in catching up on happenings at ECC, prayer and scripture reading.
Prayer Chain:
The Spirit Lifters have an ongoing prayer chain. They pray for anyone in the community and across the nation that makes a request be known. The prayer teams are lead by:

Special Activity Ministries:
The Spirit Lifters provide support for the Lincoln Christian Nursing Home Auxiliary. They also promote the Auxiliary within the church. The Home Auxiliary provides personal items for patients of the Lincoln Christian Nursing home, such as Christian gifts, birthday gifts and personal items.
Service Ministries:
- A Spirit Lifter team travels to Lincoln, IL once a month to serve at the Lincoln Christian Nursing Home. They will help the patients in many different ways; from filling water bottles, to praying and singing with them.
• Loyalty Circle, a group of senior ladies, meets once a month to sew lap robes for the Lincoln Christian Nursing Home.
• At the monthly Spirit Lifters Meetings donations are brought to help supply the Eastview Food Pantry with laundry soap.
• Many of the Spirit Lifter ladies are on our call list to serve and prepare meals for funeral dinners as a part of ECC Funeral Dinner Ministry.
Spirit Lifters Trips & Tours:
The Spirit Lifters take 5-6 trips during the year. Some are one day trips, two day trips and one four day trip. For more information, plan to attend our next Spirit Lifters Meeting.
Spirit Lifters News & Notes:
The Spirit Lifters publish a monthly newsletter. If you would like to have a copy sent to your home, please call 309.451.5019 and leave a message specifying you wish to receive the News & Notes. Be sure to provide your name and address. If you travel during the winter months and have your mail held or forwarded, please let us know so we can temporarily remove your name from the mailing list, or provide us with the address you will be staying at and we will mail the newsletter to that address. The postal system does not forward 3rd class mail and charges us a fee per returned newsletter.
