Eastview Christian Church currently has five strategic Global Partners: Haiti, the Dominican Republic, North Africa, Kenya and India. We invest significantly in these Global Partners through prayer, finances, Sunday worship time and sending people on short term trips. Each year, Eastview sends hundreds of students, adults and families on 10–15 different trips to encourage, pray and work alongside our Global Partners. It’s hard to put into words the impact these trips have on the team. The five goals for all Eastview short term mission trips are:
- To glorify God in all that we do so that the nations might know Him
- To encourage and pray over the long term work of our Global Partners
- To expose people to the growing need of people willing to go to strategic unreached places in the world to share the good news of Jesus
- To serve our Global Partners and leave them feeling valued and supported
- To embrace our responsibility as Global Christians and share our story to bring others along in their understanding.

If you’re interested in being considered for a Global Outreach trip please do the following:
- Watch the weekly E-News (Sunday bulletin) for upcoming trip informational meetings. These meetings are held six months prior to the trip departure dates. It’s a great place to meet the team leaders, hear more about the trip and pick up an application.
- Email Sarah Oehler at soehler@eastviewcc.org to let her know of your interest in a particular trip. We’ll try to notify you specifically when the informational meeting is coming up.
- Attend your trip’s informational meeting and return the application within one week with your $150 ($250 for Kenya teams) deposit. Applications will be evaluated as soon as possible and everyone will be contacted regarded their place on the team roster.
